Gone in 60 seconds

Uhmm no not in 60 but in 20, since Milax the mini distro and live cd based on open solaris boots in 20 seconds. It has a FVWM for the Xwindow desktop, vim, gvim, eboard, etc. Pretty neat. Competing with damn small linux.

Mozilla Bespin : a web based text editor

Right from the mozilla labs website : Bespin is a Mozilla Labs experiment that proposes an open, extensible web-based framework for code editing that aims to increase developer productivity, enable compelling user experiences, and promote the use of open standards.

So well this could make it easier for progg’ers to carry around a thinclient and code at any location. Just hit the url in the browser and start coding. :) Of course, you could just run a virtual desktop, but bespin tends to be different. See the video for more.
